Vikram Aviation Pvt Ltd operates an NABL-accredited testing and calibration laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025:2017) in New Delhi, near IGI Airport.
Calibration is a separate service from the company's aircraft repair and maintenance work. The laboratory calibrates aircraft instruments, tools, instruments and GSE items for aviation and non-aviation customers, within its approved calibration scope.
Vikram Aviation's DGCA CAR-145 approval includes category C-13: Calibration/overhaul of aircraft instruments.
Calibration of GSE across mechanical, electrical, thermal, electro-mechanical, dimensional disciplines.
Here, GSE (ground support equipment) means the tools, gauges and instruments listed in the calibration scope, such as torque wrenches, pressure gauges and multimeters. It does not mean ground-support vehicles or powered units.
The NABL-accredited calibration scope covers three disciplines: Electro-Technical, Mechanical and Thermal. The areas in each are listed below; instruments and ranges are in the NABL scope table.
Photographs from the laboratory show its equipment and work areas. They do not define the accredited scope: only the items in the NABL scope table are NABL-accredited.
The certificate of accreditation is issued by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) under ISO/IEC 17025:2017, “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing & Calibration Laboratories”, in the field of calibration.
A summary of the scope of accreditation. Electro-technical, pressure, humidity and temperature calibration are also listed for site facility. Measurement methods and calibration and measurement capability (CMC) for each entry are given in the full NABL Scope document.
